Haust Collection // I'll Tell You A Secret
I always wish I had more time to share stories and images from my daily works - unfortunately, in periods - long and busy days tend to leave me with less time to do the whole “SoMe”-thing.
However, earlier this spring I did a couple of campaigns for Norwegian clothing brand Haust Collection - and I totally felt I had to share a little from these shoots with you.
For some reason I can’t comprehend, this brand isn’t widely known outside of Norway - which is such a shame.
The good news is though - from fall of this year Haust Collection will start International Shipping, so keep an eye on this blog, and I’ll make sure to post some exclusive offers for your shopping pleasure when they launch.

For this particular campaign we wanted to capture the understated, carefree luxury-living vibe of the Hamptons - and Haust’s summer-collection perfectly fits the bill.
The pieces are delicate with a nautical, nordic color palette of sand, light blue, navy and white - that radiates the carefree energy of summer.

This time we drove around quite a bit to shoot at several locations, in order to blend that chill luxury vibe of the Hamptons with some Norwegian coastal views.
What I find great about shooting Haust’s collections, is that I feel the collections are very “purpose-driven” and complete - in the sense that it’s very obvious what the collection is about, and where and when to use it. It’s like “here’s your summer wardrobe, you’re welcome ☀️“
This underlying design coherency makes it so much easier to piece together the design vision and atmosphere, through various looks on various locations.

As always, when shooting outside in Norway - you have to deal with the weather 💨 This time we had a LOT of wind coming from various directions throughout the day - in the end we just have to deal with it and find solutions as we move along.

Putting on your favourite jeans, or grabbing the cashmere scarf that still has a soft whisk of his smell. Remembering previous long, warm summer nights wearing THAT dress - or the coat you wore the first time he pulled you just a little closer and smelled your hair with the rusty October-leaves lingering in the air.
So, I’ll tell you a secret - great fashion is always telling a story - your story.
